The First Student (Youth) Games of the People's Republic of China is a national level sports event jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the General Administration of Sport of the People's Republic of China, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and organized by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The event will be held from November 5th to November 15th, 2023 at the Guangxi Sports Center Stadium in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. State Councilor Chen Yiqin attended the opening ceremony and announced the opening, while the Party Secretary of the autonomous region, Liu Ning, announced the closure of the sports meet.
This year's Youth League has a total of 39 major events and 805 minor events, with nearly 18000 registered athletes participating.
